Ghana Needs Well Informed Radio Broadcasters - Kweku Poku Agyemang
With over ten years experience in the radio industry, Kweku Opoku Agyemang a.k.a Lion the Jungle King yesterday voiced his observations on how radio broadcasters have faired in the last eight years.
According Opoku Agyemang, a drive time host at Fact 104.3fm and programmes manager at Trinity Fm in Bogoso, radio broadcasters today lack certain basic knowledge which could have raised their performance in the media industry.
The drive time host declared his opinions when our reporters ventured into the Prestea-Huni Valley territory where he reins as the best radio drivetimer.
Kweku Opuku called on radio c.e.o's across the country to hold frequent training programs for their broadcasters in order to rid the media of false information and unnecessary conflicts which is now dragging the name of thr media into a quagmire.
"I have been in radio for over ten years, and i have studied under prominent broadcasters who have reached their peaks as far as quality journalism is concerned, and i will advise my fellow broadcasters to learn media law and ethics because it is important to apply the rules of the game" he said.

BOGOSO HOSTS RUSH WESTERN MUSIC AWARDS NOMINEE'S JAM
Organisers of Rush Energy Drink Western Music Awards (RWMA) have disclosed that there would be series of nominees’ jam in various cities in Western Region before the main event at the plush Best Western Plus Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi on 29th April, 2017.
The first city to host the nominees’ jam is Bogoso. At the Golden Hotel on 7th April, 2017, Snow B, Singlet, Afezi Perry, Manuel Boison, SK Frimpong, Evangelist Enrestina Konney, Nero X, Qwesi Flex , Starbwoy Ratty, Kofi Kinaata and a host of other great performers will give the over thousand (1,000) expected audience a drop on the tongue of what to expect on the awards ceremony day.
“There would be an up close and personal time with the Artistes and their fans,” the Organisers reveal. The free event promises to give patrons the best of time from 7pm till every attendee is satisfied on the day.

Abeiku Santana Leads Ghana to Kwahu with Njoy Ghana Tours
Ghana Tourism Ambassador Dr Gilbert Aggrey a.k.a Abeiku Santana has recently given a facelift to the Ghana Tourism industry.
At a media launch last week held at the headquarters of Intercity STC Coaches, Dr Santana unveil a new tourism initiative by Kaya Tours Ghana which is targeted at propagating domestic tourism as a device for economic transformation in Ghana's tourism resourced areas.

According to Kaya Tours, the trip will entail free finger chops, free meals, free accommodation, and a time with celebrities. Tickets are now out at various centres to ensure advanced bookings and avoid over attendance.
